Seville City Council showcases its best practices in digitization during the fourth day of PDP

On a significant day for digital transformation, Seville City Council welcomed the 16th of May a group of participants from public organizations in Romania, within the framework of the city’s public digitization program.

The event began with a warm reception by Juan Bueno, Second Deputy Mayor and responsible for Finance, Tourism, Citizen Participation and Digital Transformation. Guests had the opportunity to participate in a photo session on the historic stairs of the Casa Consistorial, followed by a detailed presentation on the objectives and expectations of the program.

During the session, Francisco José Fernández Lineros, Director General of Digital Transformation of the city council, gave a presentation highlighting the processes and phases of digital transformation in Seville. He addressed the remaining challenges and challenges, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration and mutual learning in this digital journey.

“This program is not only a reflection of our commitment to the modernization of public services, but also an opportunity to strengthen ties with other countries and learn from their experiences,” commented Fernández Lineros.

This meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the Seville City Council to implement innovative digital solutions that improve the efficiency of municipal services and encourage more active and transparent citizen participation.

The Seville City Council is dedicated to promoting sustainable development and modernization through digitalization, with the aim of improving the quality of life of all Seville citizens and visitors.

The inclusion of the city of Seville in this program underlines the collaborative and pan-European approach sought by EBS for digital transformation, leveraging knowledge and experience from across Europe.

After the session, participants were able to visit the municipal palace with its rooms and works of art, and enjoyed a magnificent day in the welcoming city of Seville.
