The Public Digitalization Program (PDP), organized by EBS, has successfully concluded after an intense week of training and collaboration. The School of Public Administration of Extremadura was the perfect setting for the closing of this initiative, last Friday, May 17th, which brought together 25 managers and decision makers from regional and local public organizations from Romania.

The School of Public Administration is a benchmark in the training of civil servants and public managers, providing key resources and knowledge for the continuous improvement of public management. This is why it was chosen as the venue for the closing ceremony.

Bernardino Morillo, project manager of Fundesalud, gave a session sharing with the attendees the valuable European projects in the field of public health. Participants had the opportunity to delve deeper into the case studies and explore practical applications for their respective institutions. Fundesalud is a foundation that works on innovation and technological development projects applied to health, with a special focus on public health and European cooperation.

The closing of the program came with a presentation by Dr. Juan Hernández, digital vice-president of the University of Extremadura, who spoke about digital transformation in the university environment, highlighting the innovations and strategies implemented by the university to adapt to new technological challenges.

The closing ceremony included the presentation of diplomas of participation, symbolizing not only the recognition of the effort and dedication of the attendees, but also the continuous commitment towards digitalization in the public sector.

“We are tremendously satisfied with the development and results of the program, which has undoubtedly strengthened the digital capabilities of all participants and has established firm foundations for future collaborations,” commented Carlos Ongallo, EBS Director at the end of the event.
